It’s leg day today, that means back squats, deadlifts and quads so sore that they feel like noodles, but it’s totally worth it because no one likes chicken legs. For a lot of people leg day is their least favorite day of the week and will look for any excuse to miss the gym that day but there are a few things you should keep in mind that just might leave you loving leg day. Legs are one of the biggest muscles you have so you have to hit them hard in order to reap the benefits that come from doing exercises like squats, deadlifts and lunges. Shots and Squats is one of the toughest days of the week, but also the most rewarding of the 5. This day is filled with many workouts that engage your core, quads, and hamstrings to make you ready for a night full of shots. The workout starts by electrifying your entire body with doing 4 sets of 12 reps of squats. This exercise works on balance, core muscles and of course the legs. The next exercise is the lunge, this will truly bring out the good looks from behind, also encompassing your balance skills, along with your core and legs. This grueling workout will come to a close by doing a treadmill burn out routine. This will be 5 minute intervals of running on the treadmill, and then walking on the treadmill with the incline all the way up! Burnout? You heard that correctly, continue the intervals until you truly have nothing left in the tank! Once you are done, go get yourself cleaned up and head to court street for your shots of success.
